Risser and Fiene wed

Jeff Risser of Indianapolis and Dina Risser of Zionsville announce the wedding of their daughter, Ashley Lynn Risser to Jacob Christian Fiene. He is the son of John and Solveig Fiene of Zionsville.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Zionsville Community High School. She graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor of science in English education in 2009.

The bridegroom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Zionsville Community High School. He graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor of arts in history in 2006 and a masters in public affairs from Indiana University in 2008. He is a manager of medical and material resources for LCMS World Relief and Human Care.

The couple had a June 20, 2009 wedding at Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zionsville with the Pastor John Fiene officiating. Reception was in Noel Sanctuary: The Art of Nancy Noel in Zionsville.

The maid of honor was Haley Risser, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Megan Stocksdale, Carly King, Andrina Campbell and Katie Fiene.

The best man was Christian Fiene, brother of the groom. Groomsmen and ushers were Hans Fiene, David Stuart, Greg Boutchard, Mike Campbell, Ross Lewicki, Michael Kosene and Nick Worley.

The couple visited Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for their honeymoon. They will reside in Kirkwood, Mo.

    The bride is the daughter of Scott and Elsa Eckart of Zionsville. She is a 2008 graduate of Zionsville Community High School and a 2012 graduate of Purdue University. She is a registered nurse.

She is a 2000 graduate of Zionsville Community High School, a 2004 graduate of Xavier University and 2009 graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. She is completing her Pediatric Residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. and will then work as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Toledo Children’s Hospital.

    Bethony is the daughter of Kip and Betsy Vernaglia of Anaheim Hills, Calif. She is a 2005 graduate of Orange Lutheran High School and a 2009 graduate of Purdue University. She earned a degree in management and was in Kappa Kappa Kappa sorority. She is a senior marketing executive at LabCorp.
