Zionsville Middle School 7/8 Team Off to a Strong Start

The Zionsville Middle School 7/8 White Team traveled to Louisville to play a Kentucky All-star Middle School team. While the Eagles jumped out to an early three goal lead, the game continued to remain close in a battle between two solid teams. Both teams traded goals for the remainder of the game with the Eagles lead cut down to only one goal with two minutes remaining to play. With the score at 8-7, the Kentucky team streaked down the field on a fast break to position a player with an open shot at point blank range on the Zionsville goalie, Ryan Spoonmore.
