Brown retires after serving 24 years in ZCS

Zionsville athletic secretary Joan Brown retired after 24 years of service at the school. Brown served for six different athletic directors at her time at Zionsville.

    Zionsville running back Kyle Hatton played a pivotal role Friday, Aug. 27, against visiting McCutcheon in the home opener for the Eagles in their new stadium. Hatton carried the ball 15 times for 171 yards and a touchdown while helping his team to a 24-3 victory over the Mavericks. The junior could not have envisioned a better way to break in the new digs.
