The following people with name, age, address, charge and arresting information, were booked into the Boone County Jail; charges are preliminary and may be changed subject to review by the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office.
At 9:04 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, John P. Besel, 35, of Indianapolis, was arrested for an invasion of privacy. The arrest occurred during a traffic stop on Terrace Drive.

At 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, police responded to the 10800 block of Bennett Parkway on a business burglary report.
At 4:44 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, police responded to the 9700 block of Autumn Way on a fraud report.
At 5:09 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, police responded to the 10300 block of Cottonwood Court on a credit card fraud report.
At 2:46 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, police responded to the 4300 block of Ledge Rock Court on a fraud report.
At 2:50 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, police responded to U.S. 421 on a sexual harassment between two juveniles.
At 3:57 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, police responded to the 11600 block of East Sycamore Street on a suspicious person report. A subject was placing garbage bags into a ditch. Upon arrival, the situation was deemed suspicious and the Indiana State Police responded with the Explosives Ordinance Division. The EOD investigated the packages and they were not found to be dangerous.
At 12:32 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, police responded to the 100 block of Kevin Court on a suicidal subject report. The individual was located and transported to an area hospital for a mental health evaluation.
At 1:20 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, police responded to the 100 block of North Ninth Street on a theft report.
