Killer comedy opens season
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre opens its 2013 season a few days early with the famous killer comedy, "Arsenic & Old Lace."
The fun farce kicks off the theatre’s year-long 40th anniversary celebration, and is on stage Friday, Dec. 28, through Feb. 3. -

Village residents donate to ZPD
Zionsville Police Chief Rob Knox accepts a check from Village resident Kathy Scales-Brown. The Zionsville Village Residents Association donated $300 to benefit the Zionsville Police Department’s K-9 Program. The department hopes to raise enough money to have its own K-9 unit.

at the library
The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library has planned the following events:
• Our Heroes’ Tree — Now through Sunday, Dec. 23. The library will partner with the Indiana State Library to present Our Heroes’ Tree. Zionsville residents may drop by the Youth Services Department and create an ornament honoring a service member. -
ZTS wins HPSA awards
The Zionsville Times Sentinel won two awards during the Hoosier State Press Association Foundation 2012 Better Newspaper Contest.
