The Eagle Elementary third-and-fourth grade Robotics Club participated in the Purdue University FIRST LEGO League Qualifying Tournament. FLL is a joint collaboration between the LEGO company and FIRST, a not-for-profit organization that designs robotics programs to inspire and engage students in science, technology, math and engineering. This is the first year for the club and Eagle’s two teams of 10 students each had about eight weeks to design, build and program an autonomous robot for the competition. Pictured are fourth-grade students Hayden Neumann and Nathan Ziesmer as they show the robot their team built.
