ZPD receives grant

Zionsville — Zionsville Police Officer Joe Robinson holds a check from the Automotive Safety Program at Indiana University. Zionsville Police Department received $1,100 for its car seat safety inspection program. Robinson said the department installs and inspects around 100 carseats every year through the program. Robinson said the money would be used toward supplies such as shelving paper and clips. He said the department will also give out a car seat to a family in need. Call Robinson at 873-5099 for more information about the program.
