Several clubs at Zionsville Community High School sponsoring the annual 12 Days of Giving are giving back to organizations. The program began Nov. 19 and will run through Dec. 8. Proceeds will go to several organizations, including Hurricane Relief for Staten Island, the Julian Center, Operation Honduras and the Timmy Foundation. Participating clubs are Les Femmes, sponsoring the Giving Tree for collecting hats, gloves, etc., for the Julian Center; DECA, selling doughnuts before school for Staten Island relief; Interact Club, selling hot chocolate before school for Staten Island relief; Operation Honduras, selling bracelets at lunch for Honduran school children; Timmy Club, decorating and selling sugar cookies for the Timmy Foundation; Quiz Bowl Team, collecting winter garments for the Julian Center; Student Council, selling shirts, sponsoring a Winter White Out Dance and sponsoring a Senior/Faculty basketball game with all proceeds going to Staten Island relief; and Key Club, that sponsored a Blood Drive on Friday, Nov. 30.
