Students participate in Little Miss Boone County contest
Marin J. Davis, 5, of Zionsville smiles while participating in the 2009 Little Miss Boone County Contest on Saturday, June 20. Marin is the daughter of Greg E. and Jennifer J. Davis and will be a kindergarten student this fall at Stonegate Elementary School. Also pictured are contestants Samantha Armpriester, daughter of Robert & Jennifer Armpriester, and Elizabeth Corser, daughter of Ethan and Tiffany Corser. The contest was sponsored by Xi Alpha Sorority of Thorntown and held at the Lebanon Memorial Park bandstand. Luci Nicley, daughter of Bryan and Dee Nicley was crowned the 2009 Little Miss from a field of 24 five-year-old girls. The annual contest is part of the Boone County 4th of July Celebration.
