Trash talk: What to do with all your garbage

What free Zionsville event last month had 500 participants who left heaps of trash after it was over? Well, the tally isn’t complete yet, but it seems the Household Hazardous Waste Collection at the Zionsville Town Hall set a record for participation and with this event, the more trash the better.

HHW includes a range of items from watch batteries to paint thinners and pesticides. The Boone County Solid Waste Management District is working to keep items from the landfill that may have a negative environmental impact.
