David McCormack, 63, of Zionsville, husband, dad, and papa, died Jan. 3, 2013.
David was a dedicated math teacher, track and football coach. He taught for 40 years at Zionsville Middle School. David had a distinguished career with many honors and awards in the classroom and on the sporting field.
David was an avid New York Yankees and Indiana University basketball fan. Playing softball was also one of his passions.
Mostly he loved his family, wife Barbara, daughters Abby Ludlow, Emily McCormack, son-in-law Nick Ludlow, his grandchildren Cole, Maleah and Grey Ludlow. His family filled his heart with love and pride, especially the grandkids who had wonderful adventures and mischief with papa. He was so blessed.
A time to honor David is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Flanner and Buchanan- Zionsville. A private burial will be at a later date.
