Joshua Seth Overley, 23, of Zionsville, died on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012. He was born May 24, 1989 in Indianapolis to Kevin and Melanie (Brandenstein) Overley.
Josh was a self-employed entrepreneur. His interests were wide-ranging and deep from film criticism to college football, collecting coins to political satire. He loved to fish and even wrote a screenplay. His many pursuits always encompassed a search for knowledge and understanding.
Survivors include his parents, Kevin and Melanie Overley of Zionsville; his older brother Zach Overley of Chicago; younger brother Mitchel Overley of Crawfordsville; grandparents Judy and Dave Brandenstein of Zionsville; Barbara and Ross Overley of Madison; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service was on Sunday, Oct. 28, at Flanner and Buchanan – Zionsville.
In lieu of flowers, make a memorial contribution to the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, 250 N. Fifth St. Zionsville, IN 46077. Contributions can also be donated to the Brebeuf Jesuit Baseball Program, 2801 W. 86th St. Indianapolis, IN 46268, Attention: Advancement.
