Donna Jeanne McGill Harrison, 86, of Zionsville, died July 22, 2012 in Indianapolis.
Donna was born on Nov. 3, 1925 in Dana, to the late Charles and Anna Mae Bennett McGill. They precede her in death as well as four sisters and two brothers.
Donna married George William Harrison Jr. who died in 1997 after 51 1/2 years of marriage. She graduated from Newport High School and from Lakeview Community Hospital in Danville, which was affiliated with the Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Ill.
Donna was a cadet nurse in the U.S. Army during WW II and she was employed for 32 years at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis. She was a 50-year member of the Zionsville United Methodist Church and of the Eastern Star No. 204 of Kingman.
Donna is survived by her son Richard (Nancy) C. Harrison; daughter, Linda (Bobby) S. Laws Bulverde, Texas; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11a.m. Wednesday July 25, at Kingman Cemetery in Kingman.
