Lawrence Lee Ingram of Zionsville

Lawrence Lee Ingram passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at Seton Specialty Hospital.

He was born on Feb. 6, 1929, in New Castle to John and Lela (Todd) Ingram.

Lawrence graduated from Knightstown High School in 1947. He graduated from United Electronics Laboratories in 1960. Lawrence retired from Howard W. Sams (now ITT) after 30 years as an  electronics editor and buyer. He was also a real estate broker in Zionsville for 13 years.

Lawrence was a member of the Zionsville Christian Church and served as an elder, deacon, choir member and on various committees.

He enjoyed sports, especially basketball. He loved nature and being outdoors.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Kathryn; son Steve (Barb) Ingram; daughter Cheryl (Doug) Garlinger; grandchildren Joshua Boyle, Joel Ingram and Hannah Ingram; step-granddaughters Angela Eberhart and Kelly Wurz; great-grandson Gabriel Reed Boyle; sister Richilieu Caudill; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation and a celebration of life was on Saturday, Feb 18, at Zionsville Christian Church. Committal will be at Zionsville Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan- Zionsville. Online condolences may be made at www.flanner-buchanan.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Zionsville Christian Church.

The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Vincent Heart Hospital and Seton Specialty Hospital.
