Jerry L. Mason of Zionsville

Jerry L. Mason, 70, of Zionsville, died on Sunday, May 20.

Mr. Mason was born Feb. 15, 1942 in Attica, to Sonny J. and Dorothy Beaver Mason; they preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy, Russell, Ed, and his sister, Ruth Johnson.

Jerry was a graduate of Attica High School and was the owner of Jerry Mason Drywall and Painting.

Jerry enjoyed life’s simple pleasures; he was a huge Colts fan, loved NASCAR, but above all, he loved being with his family, especially his grandkids.

Mr. Mason is survived by his loving wife, Jean Mason; his children, Sherry Mason Harper, Shanna Mason Barb, Stephanie Mason, Jerry L. Mason Jr., and Tammy Mason. Also surviving are his grandkids, Zach, Emma, Lexi, Andrew, Lauren, Nick and Jay; and his sisters, Rita Green and Karen Raiche.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville with a funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Zionsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boone Cancer Society.
