William M. Wright, 62, of Zionsville, died peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012.
He had a distinguished career as a publishing executive. After earning a masters in business from Temple University, he spent seven years at Johnson and Johnson, after which he went to work for CBS Publishing as director of distribution. Following a brief stint at Bantam Book, he became the chief operating officer at Random House Inc. He finished his career at Heart Book Group where he served as CEO.
William is survived by his wife Chandra; daughter, Diana Wright (Matt) Milkowski; son Jason Wright; daughter, Brittany Brooks; son, Charles Brooks; daughter, Corttany Brooks; sister, Karen (Alian) Joly; sister, Susan (Gilbert) Russell; brother, Robert (Jo Marie); sister Judy Wright Muzyk, 11 nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren, Kevin, Jake, Lyla and Mia.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 3, at Flanner and Buchanan, 105 W. Pine St., with a time for remembrances at 4 p.m.
