Kenneth K. Hobson, 61, of Sheridan, died Saturday, Oct. 13, at The Big Springs Community of Sheridan.
He was born Aug. 12, 1951 in Noblesville to Harley William and Martha Jane (Baird) Hobson, they survive.
He graduated from Zionsville High School in 1969.
Kenneth was a self employed carpenter/contractor. He was a talented musician, playing bass guitar with several different bands during his musical career.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Harriet (Matson) Hobson; three sons, Gavin Hobson of Sheridan, Graham Hobson of Newton, Ill. and Jake Hobson of Fishers; one daughter, Cora Hobson of Newton, Ill.; one brother Keith (Lisa) Hobson of Zionsville; one sister, Kathy Brewer of Sheridan; and special friends Tresa Gasche and Kelly Gaerte and his very, very special friend Samantha.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Kercheval Funeral Home, 306 E. 10 St., Sheridan, IN. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with his cousin, Steve Hobson, officiating. Interment will be in Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Simon Cancer Center for Prostate Cancer Research at IU Health.
