William “Bill” Gerber, 77, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012.
He married Carol Cooprider in 1954; she survives him.
Their four children also survive: Pam (Larry) Sheets, Patty (Gary) Barb, Gregg Gerber and Sandi Gerber. Additional survivors include seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Lozier; and several nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
Bill worked at Indiana Bell for almost 38 years, retiring in 1990. In retirement, Bill enjoyed playing golf several times a week with his friends.
Visitation was on Friday, Feb. 10, at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville. A funeral service was Saturday, Feb. 11, at the funeral home. Burial followed at Hutton Cemetery, Zionsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
