County burn ban lifted

Zionsville — The Boone County Commissioners has lifted the county-wide burn ban.

Boone County Emergency Management Agency Public Information Officer Chuck Ritz said in a news release to still use fire with caution and to not risk life safety.

Participants have raised more than $1 million during the past 10 years.

  • ZCS board OKs high school additions

    The Zionsville Community Schools Board of Trustees, at its Monday, June 10 meeting, authorized Superintendent Scott Robison to move forward on capital projects totalling more than $15.2 million — with the stipulation that the projects don’t go over the proposed budget and that the board will have input throughout the process.
