Meet four school board candidates

Voters will have choices in the upcoming Zionsville Community Schools Board of Trustees election on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Joe Stein is running against incumbent Robert Wingerter for the Union Township seat; Sue Gentile is challenging incumbent Jane Burgess for the Eagle Township seat. Stein and Gentile are running as a slate.

Stein has more than 21 years of accounting, financial and administrative management experience. He is the chief financial officer of Taft Law Firm in downtown Indianapolis. Stein graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting before working for KPMG Peat Marwick and passing the certified public accountant exam.
