A new mixed-use center may be finding its way to Zionsville, and a restaurant could be one of the center’s biggest tenants.
The Zionsville Redevelopment Commission discussed Monday night, Sept. 24, an economic development agreement with Harris Family Limited Partnership for the potential development, which would sit south of the bridge over Eagle Creek on Zionsville Road.
“I just wanted to introduce this and get a discussion going,” RDC President Mike Latz said. “They are requesting $300,000 in incentive money.”
Town Manager Ed Mitro said Harris had a similar project approved in 2007 for the same site, but these plans would be different.
According to documents given to the RDC, the center would have a restaurant, three 1,200 square feet sites, one 1,800 square feet site and two sites that are less than 1,000 square feet. The center would also have 83 parking spots on the site and 18 on the street.
