Residents may notice an increase in their utility bill if the town council approves a proposed stormwater fee.
The council voted on the fee Tuesday night, Sept. 4, but results were not available at press time. The council could have passed the ordinance during its August meeting if the vote had been unanimous, but councilors Jeff Papa and Susana Suarez voted against the motion.
The fee, which will be phased in over three years, adds $3.86 per month to utility bills for each residence in Zionsville.
