Zionsville’s Economic Development Strategic Plan is one step closer to becoming reality.
The plan commission unanimously voted during its Monday night, Aug. 20, meeting to pass the plan to the town council with a favorable recommendation. The council will vote on the plan during its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.
Despite the unanimous vote, some commission members had questions.
“Most of what I know about roundabouts is that when I drive down 96th Street from 421 to Meridian, I go through four of them,” Commission President Allan Rachles said. “Why does the plan suggest them at 106th Street and Zionsville Road and 106th Street and Bennett Parkway?”
