Wal-Mart’s TIF district status being considered

Residents association wants store taken out of district

Zionsville — The proposed Wal-Mart building on Michigan Road will remain in the Tax Increment Financing district for now.

The Zionsville Redevelopment Commission decided it was too early to remove the proposed store from the TIF. The Zionsville Village Residents Association made a request to remove the development out of the TIF during the Monday night, Dec. 17, RDC meeting.
