The Economic Development Strategic Plan is ready to take the next step.
The working group that has been working on the plan for more than a year decided during its meeting Thursday morning, July 26, that the plan should go to the Plan Commission.
“I think it’s time to move this on,” Town Manager Ed Mitro said. “We can sit here and talk for another four months, but I feel very comfortable with what we’ve got.”
The working group discussed a few minor changes they needed to make after they received input during a June 26 meeting.
The first topic that Chris Hamm, a principal planner with American Structurepoint, who is aiding the group with the project, talked about was how much developable property was in the study area.
