The Town of Zionsville may spend $6,000 on a taxpayer impact study for a potential event center that could be built in Anson.
“We really wanted to dig in further to see what type of tax payer impact there would be, if there would be any,” Councilwoman Candace Ulmer said at the council’s agenda meeting Monday, Sept. 24.

ZCHS Class of 2013 Graduates
The ZCS Class of 2013 graduated Sunday, June 6. James Lewis was the senior speaker; and Hannah Biggs was the senior singer. Class officers — President Sara Zaheer, Vice President Eric Regele and Secretary/Treasurer Claire Poindexter — gave a group speech, and Katelyn McCarthy and Adam Pease were recognized as salutatorians.
The Zionsville Community Schools Board of Trustees, at its Monday, June 10 meeting, authorized Superintendent Scott Robison to move forward on capital projects totalling more than $15.2 million — with the stipulation that the projects don’t go over the proposed budget and that the board will have input throughout the process.

The town council’s action to dedicate 106th Street as Mike Latz Memorial Way was only fitting for the man who brought several projects to the area.
FedEx breaks ground for new facility

Remembering Fallen Heroes
Bob Musgrave, American Legion Riders road captain, places an American flag near a grave Thursday, May 23, at Zionsville Cemetery. Musgrave was joined by members of the Zionsville Police Department and American Legion in putting flags on the grave sites of veterans.
The Zionsville Town Council will pay tribute to Mike Latz, the former president of the Redevelopment Commission.
