Members of ZFD, the Zionsville Police Department and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office were celebrating National Night Out with the community.

“It’s a way for the community to get to know us and see that we’re people too,” ZPD Chief Rob Knox said. “It’s a communitywide meet and greet. It shows people that we work together with the fire department and sheriff’s department, and that law enforcement is a team effort.”

    The Zionsville Community Schools Board of Trustees, at its Monday, June 10 meeting, authorized Superintendent Scott Robison to move forward on capital projects totalling more than $15.2 million — with the stipulation that the projects don’t go over the proposed budget and that the board will have input throughout the process.
