Tree falls on two vehicles

A tree located at Oak and Third streets fell onto the roadway on top of two vehicles Sunday evening, June 28.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Ryan L. Stephens, 24, of Zionsville was driving a red 2006 Dodge Charger west on Oak Street and Sara L. Scharnowske, 24, of Zionsville was driving a silver 2005 Mini Cooper east on Oak Street, when a large tree fell on their vehicles.

No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed to Zionsville towing.
