Slibeck - Hudson to wed

CNHI

Walt and Pam Slibeck of Zionsville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Slibeck of Cincinnati, to Gareth (Gary) Hudson of Cincinnati. He is the son of Louise Hudson of Brunswick, Maine.

Lauren is a 2004 graduate of Zionsville Community High School. She is a 2008 graduate of Butler University majoring in broadcast journalism and French.  Lauren is pursuing her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education at Xavier University.

 Gary is a graduate of Amherst College with a degree in Neuroscience. He is the former CEO of Mercury Instruments. He is president of Darkness to Light Cincinnati, a not-for-profit whose mission is to train adults to prevent child sexual abuse.

The couple plans a July 2011 wedding in Laguna Beach, Calif.
