Street-Brown to wed

Elizabeth Street of Myrtle Beach, S.C., announces the engagement of her daughter, Kelly Street of Raleigh, N.C., to Nicholas Brown of Raleigh, N.C. He is the son of Diane F. Claffey of Martinsville, and Richard Brown of Carmel.

 The bride-to-be graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with distinction from the University of Virginia and earned a law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary. She is a shareholder with the law firm of Young Moore and Henderson, P.A., in Raleigh, N.C.

The groom grew up in Zionsville. He graduated from Tufts University and earned a law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. After law school, he clerked for a bankruptcy judge and then entered private practice with the law firm of Howard, Stallings, From and Hutson, P.A., in Raleigh, N.C.

The couple plans a July 14, 2012 wedding in Charlottesville, Va. with Randall Haycock officiating.
