Shone-Hartsock to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Shone, of Dyer, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Shone of Chicago, to Eric Hartsock of Chicago. He is the son of Jim and Kim Hartsock of Zionsville.

Katie graduated from Andrean High School in Merrillville, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University’s School of Technology in 2006. She is employed as a lead retail buyer for Fansedge stores in Chicago.

Eric is a 2001 graduate of Zionsville Community High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing from Purdue University in 2005. He recently earned a second bachelor’s degree from Purdue University’s School of Engineering in 2011. He is employed as a system administrator for Wiredtree in Chicago.

The couple will be married by the bride-elect’s cousin, Father Tony Mazurkiewicz, on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at St. John Catholic Church in St. John.
