By Feb. 1, the Boone County Community Clinic, which now serves more than 5,000 patients a year in a 1,100-square-foot office, could learn whether it will have a new home with double the space.
Clinic director Dr. Bambi McQuade-Jones gave the Boone County Commissioners an update on the clinic’s activities, and how the organization is figuratively being squeezed out of providing services to its patients.
For four years, the clinic has occupied the rear of a one-time doctor’s office building at 404 W. Camp St., Lebanon, in space provided by Witham Health Services.
