McClure, others honored by judicial center

Zionsville — Boone County Superior Court I Judge Rebecca McClure and 17 other judges received Indiana Judicial College certificates recently, as more than 50 judges state-wide were recognized for their service.

To earn the certificate, a judge must complete the Indiana Judicial Center’s 120 hour program enhancing legal knowledge and improving personal and professional development.

“It’s really not a big deal,” McClure demurred Friday, Nov. 2, adding that she received the award for completing the continuing education program.

Police said Garcia was taken to Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. A woman was being questioned by police, Hobson said. According to police reports, Clada Garcia called 911 saying that she was in a vehicle in front of the home in the Hickory Meadows subdivision. Her husband had hurt her, she said, and was threatening to injure himself. The injured man was identified as Juventino Salinas Garcia in a press release issued by LPD Monday afternoon.
