Sondra E. Hayes, professor emeritus at University of Indianapolis, now professional storyteller, told Christmas stories to children Saturday, Dec. 22, at Black Dog Books in Zionsville. Stories she told included “Santa Mouse,” “The Night Before Christmas,” and one she wrote, “Santa and the Magic Shorts,” about what happens when Santa has to deliver gifts to Florida.
