Sigmans celebrate 50th anniversary-

Staff report

Robert and Dixie (Shelburn) Sigman of Indianapolis will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at the Northview Christian Life Church in the barn, 5535 E. 131 St. The couple was married May 24, 1957, at Carmel Wesleyan Methodist Church.

Robert Sigman works for Coca-Cola and Dixie Sigman works for Federated Insurance and is a homemaker.

They have five children: Greg Sigman (wife Margaret) of Zionsville, Wayne Sigman (wife Cheryl) of Avon, Debbie Marquis (husband Ed) of Lebanon, Mark Sigman (wife Lisa) of Highland, Calif. and Lynn Yeary (husband Ron) of Noblesville. They have 17 grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to the open house.

    Mr. and Mrs. Alan Voorhis observed their 60th wedding anniversary Friday, June 22.

    They were married in the United Brethren Church in Warsaw by Rev. Otice I. Uncapher. Their witnesses were Mr. and Mrs. William C. Ellis, of Noblesville.

    They are the parents of Steven, Rebecca and Robert and have seven grandchildren.
