Young’s celebrate 30th wedding anniversary

Julie Smith Young and Gary Young of Zionsville celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, June 2.

The Young’s were married on June 2, 1979. Gary is the owner of Young’s Painting Inc. Julie is a stay-at-home mom who raised their three children, Amy (Brock) Padgett, Mitch and Hayes, all of Zionsville. The Young’s have two grandchildren, Brady Padgett, 3, and Henry Padgett, 9 months.

  Mr. and Mrs. Harold (Jim) James celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 22.

  The couple was married on June 22, 1952, in West Burlington, Iowa.

  Mrs. James Brother, the Reverand C.W. Richardson, officiated.

  They are the parents of Steven, Rebecca and Robert and have seven grandchildren.
